Replace your worn out speedometer cable with a new complete assembly with steel ends. The latter cable was 1/4"" in diameter. The '30-'31 accepts the square cable. Speedo End Square - Drive end Square. Please note these will not work with cars that have "original" pop-out switch and cable.
